PPL OF COLOR
"You are not special. You are not... a unique snowflake." - Tyler Durden, "Fight Club"
SUBMISSIONS
CALL FOR WORK: open to anyone with a means to make a photographic image (cameras, phones, scanners, x-rays, etc). All techniques and processes are welcome.
RULES: The rules are simple, the content submitted must in some way try to answer the question - What does it mean to be "White" in America? Your answer can be broad or narrow, abstract or concrete; however the intentions behind your photographs must be done out of love (even if that means "I love mankind; it's people I can't stand." - Charles M. Schultz). Tough love is fine, but there is no room in the inn for images done out of spite, hate or intending to be damaging (even to ones self).
To submit images email them to info@pplofcolor.com . Images must have been created after 1999. Send at least 5 images, along with a short statement about your work, and any captions listed along with the titles of each corresponding work. Captions that are interviews should be easy to read and already edited.
Example:
1.) Title - caption
All images should be 72 dpi jpegs and no longer than 1600 pixels on the longest side. Label your jpegs with your name and title.
Example:
FirstLastNameTitle.jpg
After you submit your 5 or more images you can continue to build your gallery by submitting more photos. You can also do as many different projects under your name as you deem necessary. If you wish to have a link to your photography website or other related site, please state that in your email along with the website address.
Again, please send your 5 images (at least) by email to info@pplofcolor.com
Thank you.
